We all know social media is a growing and ever-changing way to grow your business. You have to stay consistent and engage with your followers, but what about Pinterest? Pinterest technically isn’t social media, it’s a search engine. It searches key words and hashtags to show relevant images. But how does this help your business? Did you know that on average a Pinner purchases over $58 in a Pinning session?!
Now let’s talk about what you can do and should do on your Pinterest page. You want to create pins with grabbing graphics. Pinterest is all about eye appeal and if your graphic doesn’t pop, then chances are it’s not going to get re-pinned or a click-through. Avoid using facial images because those get less clicks.

For your business or blog, create a Pinterest template so that people get to know YOUR pins. You can utilize Canva to create your own or drop me a note and we can work on getting something together that represents you and your brand.
Don’t forget to use hashtags…don’t bother adding them to old pins because that’s not how Pinterest works. They take the newest ones, not the most used!
