Michelle is a wine lover….plain and simple. She loves a buttery chardonnay, crisp rose, chilled sauvignon blanc, good red blend or zinfandel. That said, she’s happy to try any varietal and am always up for wine tasting. Michelle doesn’t cleanse her palate or use fancy words to describe a wine she likes. She tastes it and if she likes it, then she”ll make sure to make a note of it and always share it with friends!

Five years ago Michelle started writing Wine Wednesday reviews for her good friend, Tracy Pendergast at Hey Tracy. They are both big wine lovers and since Michelle was drinking it, she figured, why not write about it?! They ended up collaborating with La Crema and creating a series of blog posts for their website. Michelle created food pairings and incorporated their wines into recipes she crafted, along with tablescapes for dinner parties. This was one of the most fun projects Michelle has worked on! It all started because of her review on La Crema’s tasting room in Healdsburg, CA for her sister-in-law’s bachelorette weekend.

Michelle loves writing wine reviews and letting you know what she’s enjoying, where you can find it and how much it is. She will splurge on an expensive bottle every now and then, but affordability is definitely an important aspect of what she looks for.

Food and wine are two of Michelle’s great loves and she’s excited to share them both with you!
