Today finally feels like fall here in San Jose. The weather has cooled down and we expect a chance of rain! Yes, I’m excited because it means sweater and boots weather. It also means all things pumpkin! I hit Trader Joe’s this morning and got every pumpkin flavored thing they had including Pumpkin Hard Cider. I didn’t see any pumpkin wine though, so here’s the next best thing…some fall wine cocktail recipes for you including one that has pumpkin in it! Whether you want to enjoy these by the fire at home, at Friendsgiving, at Thanksgiving or at your next happy hour, they’re sure to be a hit!
I’m a wine drinker through and through but most certainly love a good cocktail. One of my favorites is a pumpkin martini which our friends, Sara and Terry make for me every year…be still my heart! I could live off those! You know I have a great supply of wine, so to find cocktail recipes that utilize wine is a major win in my book. A bit of fall inspiration for you today with these delicious finds!

- 1 cup chilled vodka
- 1 pint pumpkin gelato (if you can’t find, vanilla gelato with a dash of pumpkin pie spice is a great substitute)
- 1/2 bottle ONEHOPE Sparkling Wine
- 1 cup ice
- Ground Cinnamon (for garnish)
- 4 ground honey graham cracker crumbs (for rimming)
- Rim chilled martini glasses with graham cracker crumbs. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy. Pour mixture into glasses and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a dollop of whipped cream!

- 2 cups ONEHOPE Sparkling Wine
- 4 ounces bourbon whiskey (we used Knob Creek)
- 1 pear, unpeeled and cored cut into thin slices lengthwise
- 2/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup cinnamon mixed for rimming
- Rim champagne coups with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Next, combine the pear nectar, apple cider, sparkling wine and whiskey in a pitcher. Pour into coup glasses, garnish with sliced pear and serve immediately!

- 1 (750 ml) ONEHOPE Cabernet
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 orange zested and juiced
- 10 cinnamon sticks
- 4 cloves
- 3 star anise
- 2 oranges peeled for garnish
- Combine the cider, wine, honey, orange juice, zest, 2 cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour into mugs and garnish with orange peels and cinnamon sticks.

- 1 ounce scotch
- 2 ounces fresh apple cider
- 4 ounces ONEHOPE Sparkling Wine
