As a working mom, wife and stepmom, I know firsthand how busy life can get. What I didn’t know is that June is National Break You Make Month. Chobani is celebrating it by honoring those who truly deserve a much needed break on their site Break You Make.
I know so many deserving people out there who need, want, deserve and should get a break, but I want to nominate one special woman for the #breakyoumake. My good friend, Hillary Young has truly been an inspiration to me and if there were more Hillarys in the world, then it would definitely be a better place. Not only is Hillary a downright really good person to her core, she’s also a wife and mother. Hillary’s husband Josh is just as special and deserving, but I’m only nominating her because she truly does so much for her family and friends!

Hillary and her husband are foster parents and adore their son to the ends of the earth. They were originally foster parents to two boys, but one is now with his family. They’ve been raising Toddler P since he was just hours old and love him and care for him as their own, because he is. Like me, Hillary had miscarried before Toddler P came into their lives and struggled with infertility. Always longing for children, they felt so truly blessed to have Toddler P in their lives…Less than 3 months later, Hillary found out she was pregnant. She is now the proud mother of two boys who are less than a year apart! That’s beyond crazy! She has a little guy exploring his surroundings and able to walk wherever he wants to and is taking care of a brand new baby who needs constant attention. I’m exhausted just thinking about it…oh and then she has a couple dogs on top of that!
I watch every day as Hillary strives to be the best mother possible for her boys and the fantastic job she does. Not only that but she’s an awesome wife to Josh and even somehow manages to have dinner on the table at night…with an infant and walking toddler, I’m truly not sure how she does it, but I do know she deserves a #breakyoumake!
Do you know someone who deserves to be nominated? I’d love to hear about them and you can pay it forward on Break You Make!
